Welcome to my Randomness XXII

Is anyone else as tired as I am? I don’t know what it is but I’m exhausted.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m planning a trip around the world. Of course after I finish my CPA exam.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Talking about a motivating factor…

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The countries I want to visit so far: China, Thailand, Greece, Poland, SPAIN, Philippines…

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

So far… that’s it. Of course, I wouldn’t be touring and exploring. I’m planning on teaching English. Lord willing if I’m able to do so.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’ve come across some pretty cool programs and organizations. I’m praying everything works out because I’m really looking forward to this around the world trip!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Wednesday I was called for an interview. Unfortunately at a time I’m unavailable, the morning. I can’t interview in the morning because I’m expected to be at work. So I go to interviews on my lunch breaks.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Long story short the HR Manager called me in the afternoon wondering about me in the morning. SHOCKER! You NEVER get called back after you missed a scheduled interview (only of course if they’re sales positions) Anyway! I was shocked to say the least and she wanted me to come in ASAP that day BEFORE 5pm. Good thing I was on my lunch break at that very moment (3pm).

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I told HR lady I’m not prepared! I’m not dressed!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

HR: Are you in business casual at least? Hurry up and look online at the job description!

TALK ABOUT HEART ATTACK!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Well, as far as my interview intuition goes… I don’t think I’ll get a call-back. This was my 2nd interview… the Hiring manager said the dreaded words… Ok, well our HR department will be in contact with you.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

LADY HR disrupted my LUNCH HOUR to schedule an impromptu interview with you! Goodness! AND I wasted a perfectly beautiful paisley cotton printed card for you. UGH!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Anyway, you live and you learn. I’m definitely getting my interview practice in.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Saturday volleyball: I landed on my left ankle wrong. It was bruised and swollen. BUT I healed up quite nicely and only when I accidentally sit RIGHT on my ankle does it hurt. Not bad… I suppose.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m going to talk to my parents about letting up a bit on chore list… Its kind of hard to study when you are constantly being interrupted by questions of who’s washing the dishes, who’s cleaning the kitchen counters/stove, who’s going to sweep the floor and mop, etc.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Wish me luck! My other alternative is to pay my brother. My sister already said she doesn’t have time… surprisingly that shocks me that she’s actually turning down “free” money…

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m still contemplating how much I want to shell out for the bro…but maybe if every now and then I buy him dinner we can come to a nice agreement.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This would be most helpful…

What’s the one thing you would pay for to get done and how much would you pay?

Welcome to my Randomness XXI

I’ve been really fascinated by how beautiful the sky has been lately. . .

Pretty Colors...

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I had an interview with the Science Center yesterday. I haven’t been there in FOREVER. So many things have been changed but it’s still so neat to go through it.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I have this intense desire to just up and leave for the weekend. Buy a flight for Friday and fly back Monday.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The problem is picking where to go. So many choices!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Volleyball tomorrow. I haven’t been feeling it the past few games. I haven’t played horribly. I’ve been pretty decent. I’ve been completely off and it’s really frustrating.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Hopefully I can snap out of it soon.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Looking for a volleyball league to join after this one ends. Any suggestions?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

If all else fails, I’ll just sign up for a volleyball class at Mt Sac.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’ll be able to play at least once a week.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Upcoming Jury Duty on November 15th. I’ll serve the jury term. I just hope it’s a case I can handle. None of that nasty gory stuff.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Add the graphics to the details, I may throw up.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Ever feel like you’re waiting for someone to ask you how you are doing? Really, ask you how you are doing. To the point where they’re keeping eye contact waiting for your answer…?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Yeah, so anyway. My friend Beth is leaving for Michigan tomorrow. The silly girl told me last weekend as we were hanging out. She said it so nonchalant…

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Going back to school enrolling to get an AA in Paralegal stuff. That sentence looks weird.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This past week has been horrible sleep week. I don’t know why. Last night I came home “late” 10pm. I was helping my mom get their flight stuff ready. Slept after 1am.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The other night my twin called! Woohoo! He’s coming for a weekend in December. I’m excited! I didn’t think I’d see him til his wedding. If I was going, lol. Oh anyway, since the last time we talked a couple of months ago we ended up talking til 3 am.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The weather has been insane lately, just to let you know. This past week its been around 87-97 degrees. Wednesday it was unbearable with the 97 degree weather! Its NOVEMBER!!!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My friend Ben who lives in MO at the moment thinks that’s incredible. He said swimming attire should be appropriate for the workplace if it’s that hott in November. The logic in that? I don’t see it.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

He and I talked about something particular that needs a post all its on.

Until next Friday’s randomness!

That’s not when I’ll post about it some time after I post my sushi dinner and this post! Wow, I’m totally random right now.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

ok bye!

Welcome to my Randomness XX

I had two stories to tell now none come to mind. Wow…talk about getting old.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

I remember!

Anyway, I was reception relief yesterday since my subordinate didn’t come to work. I haven’t been up to the reception desk in about a month or so?

* * * * * * * * * * * *

A client calls. Need to speak with Jack, please (Names changed, of course)

Me: I’m sorry Jack is out of the office for an event. Would you like to leave a message or be transferred to his voicemail?

Client: That’s what you told me last week. Did you ever give him the message?

Me: I’m sorry, this is the first time I’ve been at the reception desk since last month. I work in the accounting department and we’re short-staffed at the moment.

Client: Oh. Well, when will he be back?

Me: I’m not sure I know he had training last week and there’s an event this week. If you leave a message I’ll e-mail him your information. Jack returns phone calls accordingly.

Client: Ok, I need a loan and I was referred by Wells Fargo…

Etc. So goes the conversation.

Sometimes you can tell someone is prolonging the conversation. I was getting that type of feeling with this guy. Hey, what can I do? A client is a client right? Go with the flow, keep him engaged, interested, and portray that I really care about his needs and how our services can meet those needs… yada yada.

Yup, I was right. He just wanted to prolong the conversation. Unfortunately, he asked for my name and yes I gave it.

His conclusion/goodbye. Ok, sweetie thank you so much.

GAG.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

He was probably in his mid-thirties. Not that anything is wrong with that age. It’s definitely not the age for me. 🙂

* * * * * * * * * * * *

We were supposed to have an Alumni Volleyball game tonight. We aren’t having one. It got canceled. I’m totally disappointed.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

I was so looking forward to this game!

* * * * * * * * * * * *

At least tomorrow I still have my Saturday league. I’m going to need to find something after this Saturday league is over though.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

November 1st starts the end of my life. Not that I’ve had a life right now anyway. For sure, I’m going to start studying again. This time I’m determined. Studying 3/5 week nights I’m available. Saturday afternoon studying. Sunday afternoon reviews.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Let’s hope I stick with it. I have 2 months planned out. I also have a weekly to-do list. I also have a daily to do list: M, T, W, S/S each day has several goals.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Since I love lists and crossing things off my list…this should help me stay motivated and determined. I’ve also accounted for Holidays.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

The second story I really wanted to share has completely eluded my mind.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

OH MY GOODNESS! I remember now! I think I remember at least. Vegetable oil. Everyone uses vegetable oil, right? Well, we also have olive oil, virgin olive oil, etc.Sometime this week in the evening I was really itchy. I couldn’t figure out why. I took Benadryl and it somewhat subsided. The next evening I was looking at the ingredients for pan de sal. Filipino bread. AMAZING taste. Anyway! It said vegetable oil. I randomly thought to look at the ingredients for vegetable oil just because I was in a weird mood. I don’t know what I was expecting but definitely not what I found out!

* * * * * * * * * * * *

There was only one ingredient for vegetable oil: SOYBEAN OIL

* * * * * * * * * * * *

I immediately stopped eating. That further complicates things considering almost EVERYTHING is cooked in vegetable oil. I think fewer people would actually use vegetable oil if they called it what it really was: soybean oil-sounds weird.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

This morning I came into work later than usual. I was actually able to talk to my dad. I don’t ever see my dad because I’m usually out of the house by the time he wakes up. He was awake a little earlier because he’s attending this online trading seminar. I opted to go into work late just to chat with him even if it was for 15 minutes. I love my dad. He’s always smiling. Honestly sometimes its hard to tell if he’s serious or not because he has those smile wrinkles.

* * * * * * * * * * * *
The only downside to this Saturday evening volleyball league…I’m unable to go out-of-town. My family is visiting my grandpa (he lives 3 hours away). I haven’t seen him since…oh dear. I don’t know when. Probably the summer time. Because in August my skin wreaked havoc and in September my volleyball league started. I miss him. My dad is just like him… lol.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Any randomness you care to share?

Welcome to my Randomness XVI

This Los Angeles weather is insane!

Saturday & Sunday: High 90’s

Monday: Record-breaking high of 113, it’s the last week of September!

I officially know how a piece of bacon feels as its being fried in oil.

Tuesday: 100s

Wednesday: 100’s did I mention it was spitting as I drove home from work?

Thursday:  high 90’s and humid not to mention in La Verne there was thunder, lightning, and rain. On my way home I felt like I was living back in SC with monsoon type winds.

Friday: I awake to the sound of thunder clasps and noticed the sun was beaming its heavenly rays!

The clouds

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Confession: I have failed miserably this week regarding my spending fast.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Volleyball update: We didn’t sweep last week. The team was completely off last week. Not to mention, the gym was unbearably miserable to play in because of the ridiculous heat! We started our first game with 5 players-put us in a bind. We got through it and won all three games. The second game was a bit harder. We won the set 2/3. For the third game I served about 8 points within 3 minutes, all over hand. I was pretty proud of myself considering I haven’t been able to exercise my over-hand serve much.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My sister told me she found a mustard colored trench coat the same style as my white trench coat. It’s 24.99 ugh. Should I or should I not?!

HELP!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Not that mustard is my favorite color but I like the way it looks on me. So far, I’m on the lookout for mustard colored peep-toe wedges. I think that would be cute. I would love to have a mustard color purse, as well.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Ever get that need to leave for a few days to clear your mind and refocus? Yes? Great, because I would love to do that right now.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Actually not a few days, I would like a sabbatical, please. I’m 22 and need a sabbatical?! Something is wrong with me! Or is that normal?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Oh and my next post will be #100 and Malize will be taking over for that post. She had let me be a guest blogger on her blog and my post also happened to be #100 for which she was waiting to throw a big party and involuntarily forfeited that #100th post to me. So we traded #100 post.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I was really surprised as to how much positive feedback I got regarding my Facebook post. I was prepping myself for some serious ‘hate comments’ lol. I probably should not speak too early but so far, I’ve had great feedback. Thanks guys!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Lately, my imagination has been going crazy. I was on my lunch break parked underneath a tree in the park and there was a guy  parked in front of me chilling as well. Five minutes later a white van pulled up in front of his car. The guy came out of his car, went to his truck pulled out a brief case and hopped into the white van. Hm…what’s going on there?!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Yesterday as I was driving back to work from making deposits, I heard a little girl screaming at the top of her lungs as she was walking next to this lady, maybe her aunt? I believe her mom was walking in front of her and the little girl’s sister. What was she screaming? I HATE YOU! I want it now! I HATE YOU!

Goodness gracious? What did the child want? Did she want ice-cream, she want to stop by the store? Did her mom say she couldn’t go to a friend’s house? Keep it up Mom! Don’t succumb and I hope you dealt with that child when you got home!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I have never thought of yelling let alone muttering under my breath I hate my parents. Such sadness.

Welcome to my Randomness XV

I got an email from him… and now I feel like not replying forever.

Well, maybe not forever but at least a month or month and a half.

Is that bad?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’ve not spent any money so far, unless you count gas but that’s doesn’t count, I think. At least, I’m saying it doesn’t.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Going to the LA County fair today after 5pm because it’s only $5. My friend works there so we’ll do the whole employee parking deal woowoo!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Oh got my first AWARD from Marliz3e!

I’ve yet to tag 10 people, it’s coming! 🙂

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’ve still not fully adjusted to being home. Sometimes I wonder if I’m supposed to be living in California if I have no friends in California. When I mean friends I mean the type of friends you can sporadically count on to meet you after work for an hour at Starbucks or grab dinner with when you get off work late.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Believe me I know somethings you plan for but somethings planning just doesn’t happen. Just saying…

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This SoCal weather is weird one day this week I had my boots, leggings, and long sweater-type blouse. The next day I wore a polka-dot skirt, blouse, and peep-toe wedges. Is that supposed to happen that way?!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Volleyball games: so far still undefeated. The second game set we won the first and the second game we were down 10-20. We ended the game somewhere around 22-24 in our favor. It was intense!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Please take me away…

Preferably where this will be the sunset...

Thank you,

Melanie

Welcome to my Randomness XIV

My life has been quite uneventful this week.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’ve been sleeping on the couch this week.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I found bangles that fit from H&M (finally) . I have tiny wrists so its difficult to find bracelets/bangles that stay without making my wrists look even smaller!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Some reflexology lady is coming to my house tomorrow after lunch.

We’ll see how it goes!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Paid off another student loan! One more to go 🙂

I can also cross that off this list.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Looking over that list… I’ve crossed a few things off 🙂

  • Renewed Disneyland pass and added WOC viewing!
  • Bought a KBF pass went 3x in the summer.
  • I went to SD-Pastor Merritt’s church and Chicago
  • I went to the beach-Manhattan Beach/Huntington Beach
  • I went to Hollywood, Roscoe’s, Pink’s and OC.
  • Went on a 2 week spending fast vs. one week 🙂
  • Still working on that knot.. hopefully reflex lady can help.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m going through withdrawals. I need to get out of LA County again..

Yes, I know I just went on “vacation” but literally one day out of LA was totally not enough!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’ve been drinking more than a gallon of water this week. CRAZY! I’m just always so thirsty…

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m slowly getting used to not eating the untouchables. I still have to buy a journal to list everything I eat.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My new snacks have been cereals. All of the actual snacks have soy and peanut contamination, lol. I’m thinking of making my own granola/trail mix, with cereal. 🙂

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This past week I have- I had LIFE cereal, Kellogg mini wheats, and craisins. Yummy munchies

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Another volleyball game tomorrow! Oh, we won both sets, undefeated, no matches lost.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My goal: get my overhand serve back. I haven’t been practicing unlike last year where I did it all the time for volleyball.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m going on another spending fast. This time I’m leaving all my credit cards at home. Meaning, my gas tank can never be close to empty and I cannot forget my phone anymore.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Have an awesome weekend everyone! I’ll be studying, yeah… [severe sarcasm]

Welcome to my Randomness XIII

Tomorrow my volleyball games are at 5 and 7pm.

I’m EXCITED!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I have a friend from college coming for the LA Country fair. Hopefully I get to hang out with her. Albeit she only lives in SD so I could always visit.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My lesson for the past week has been contentment and it’s a battle.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

From now on, I’m going to try and respond to all comments. I always appreciated people replying to my comment. So, now I’m going to try to do the same.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Bear with me, sometimes I don’t have a reply. I suppose a staple should be “Thanks for stopping by, come back soon :)”

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Sounds like it should be one of those state leaving signs… States have signs welcoming you….then they have signs thanking you for coming…Random, I know.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The reason I know? For graduation we drove from GA to SC all the way to ME. We saw a lot of state welcoming signs and thank-you come again signs.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My cousins were supposed to spend the night tonight and we were going to go to Roscoe’s. Alas, my cousin got hired for a job. Sad no Roscoe-cousin bonding time but I’m glad she got a job.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Hm, I don’t know if I’m going to the Fair this year. Anything good?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Considering I can’t eat anything… lol, probably not. Ugh, I never got to have my fried Twinkies.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The Kashi brand has become my new best friend. If I can’t find anything to buy at the store I just look for the Kashi brand. I’m bound to find something I can actually eat!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I wonder what people think as they see me pick up box after box looking at the side-I wonder if they think I’m looking at the sugar and calorie information or the ingredients.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Oh and vacation was wonderful! I’ll have to bug my sister about pictures. BUT! Vacation couldn’t have ended sooner than my 2 coach purses, ugh. Shopping fast here I come.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Of course, not after I go to LOFT tomorrow because I have a 30% off coupon and 25% off coupons on purchases. I’m in need of tops-blouses, shirts, etc.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Tailor lady could you please hurry a little so I can rein in on my spending? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you 😀

Welcome to my Randomness XI

This week has been hard. A lot of things have happened to say the least. He and I are texting 🙂

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I went MIA this past weekend and got rest.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I will be able to see an allergist on Monday! It’s what I’ve been waiting for these past two weeks! Lord willing they will be able to give me some type of relief.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Wednesday I cried out to the Lord with my mom as my witness. I have never done anything of the sort in my entire life but it was good for me. I let it all out-my fears, my desires, my apprehensions, my anxieties, and my thoughts. It was freeing to have someone else finally share in the burden of what has become my life. Confusing I know.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I’m praying about teaching in China. There is nothing keeping me here in the states. Of course after I pass my CPA exam I will pray more fervently. I have been in contact with someone about China. 🙂

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

My lolo isn’t doing well. My family is travelling to see him this weekend. I wish I could go but I don’t want to get worse and we always stay up late with the family when we’re all together.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This past week I’ve been in bed at 9pm. Amazing. NEVER EVER happens. I just wish I was able to fall asleep at 9 or 9:30 or even 10 but I’m not. I’m wide awake hoping to fall asleep soon but I don’t because of the irritation.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

September 11th is the first game for my volleyball league. I am SO EXCITED!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

A lot of the messages I’ve been hearing on my way to work this week have been specifically applicable to my circumstance. Today as I was listening to David Hocking I was encouraged and rebuked. He was talking about God’s blessings-he was naming blessings and comparing our lifestyle to the rest of the world.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I have been blessed although I am suffering at the moment I can still say God is good. He has blessed me and is still blessing me. The blessing of salvation alone is enough God didn’t have to do anything else.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This week I have clung to these verses for comfort:

PS 31

9Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

10For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

12I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

17Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

21Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

22For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

24Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Ps 84:11

11For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Rom 8:26

CONGRATULATIONS LAKERS Sweet 16!

No, I did not just jump on the bandwagon. My family (extended) are die-hard Laker fans. I remember visiting my grandparents and watching Nick Van Exel and Eddie Jones play.

The parade is scheduled for Monday. Could it not be scheduled for Wednesday? I need a little more advance notice. My cousin texted me not 5 minutes after the game was over telling me to pick her up because she’s totally down to going to the parade. My cousin-in-law from SD texted me saying they’re planning a trip up for the parade. Believe me yet? My family loves the Lakers.

It would definitely be something to put on my I have done before I die list… and I only work about 15minutes from downtown. Although, Monday would probably be a good day to go to Pink’s… hm. Just a thought.

I watched Pride & Prejudice last night with the Godinez girls. Just saying, Pride & Prejudice is a book everyone should read. Honestly.

My family went camping to Kachuma lake. I miss them. I wish I was with them. Apparently, they’re planning to stop by Delano to visit my Lolo. I miss him too. Actually, I miss both my grandparents. Sadly, Enang’s been gone for years now and I miss the excitement and amusement she brought to family gatherings. Everything centered around her…

Today, I think I will actually buy pants that fit me. I’m not trying to lose weight anymore just maintaining and toning. Oh, and I’m pretty content with my volleyball team this summer. Although, a big change since I’m not on Mr. Archie’s team. I’ve been on his team every single year except the first year the summer games have started, summer games-LOL.

I’ve been craving curry. I don’t know why. For the past week, I’ve been wanting to have some good yummy curry. Maybe Sunday lunch I’ll treat my dad (family included) to Maxim. Probably not though, my dad loves seafood buffets and it’s the least I could do. I figure it’s cheaper than buying my dad a la-z-boy, which is what he wants. (Relayed info from my mom) So maybe the buffet this Sunday will have curry, I’ll be hopeful.

I’m hanging out with a friend tomorrow-at the Filipino town. LOL. Hopefully he enjoys it. I have a feeling he will. He’s kinda cooky like that.

Cayleigh turned 3 last week. I absolutely love her. She’s so crazy. She most definitely has her own personality. Weird how I’m 19 years older than her. I’m going to miss it when she won’t let me pick her up anymore…
